Blogs and tweets lit up with commentary and evidence of Sarah Palin at the tea party confab late Saturday checking out her left hand for notes during interview session after he speech-- and after rapping Obama for using a teleprompter. Now a closeup of her hand has emerged with words like "energy" and "tax" and "lift spirits" on it. It comes from an AP photo taken during her speech and before the interview.
Ouch! That smarts. Or is it that's dumb?

ReplyDeleteAnyone who has to write 'tax cuts' on their hand in order to remember to talk about tax cuts is an idiot. If you're a Republican and can't remember to talk about tax cuts, get off the stage.

ReplyDeleteThis is much ado about nothing (and keeps giving the press a bad name for making a big deal out of it). There is a big difference between reading a few words on your hand and using a tele-prompter for your whole speech.
ReplyDeleteHelp me understand . . . why is this news? I love your blog usually but you hurt your credibility with stuff like this. This is nit-picky and comes across this way.
