Gallup Surveyed
You remember that fist fight earlier this month in Gallup, N.M. betweeen mayor and local newspaper publisher--after story appeared linking hizzoner to 1948 rape? Now the D.A. is looking into it.

Greg Mitchell was editor of Editor & Publisher from early 2002 to December 2009, and the author of 10 books. Joe Strupp was staff writer and senior editor at the magazine even longer, and broke hundreds of important stories on its Web site.
