Good AP piece today on the range of photos this week and how some have broken "tradition." Interesting debate on how far is too far -- especially with so much available on the Web. Meanwhile, some terrific "graphic" editorial cartoons as well.
Former editors at 'Editor & Publisher' magazine band together and carry on.

Wasn't there a time when it was considered invasive to widely distribute the photo of a body that had suffered a violent death and hadn't yet been attended to? Or a picture of a person as a they died? I don't have a position staked out either way -- I honestly don't know what does the most good for society, to minimize our casual aquaintance with horror, or to not flinch from the worst -- but I'm glad the question is being raised.
