Cutting Your Way to Profit
Interesting report today on SF Chronicle, said by some to be near collapse, actually now turning a profit -- due to drastic cuts. So what is long-range prognosis? A little goes a long way?

Greg Mitchell was editor of Editor & Publisher from early 2002 to December 2009, and the author of 10 books. Joe Strupp was staff writer and senior editor at the magazine even longer, and broke hundreds of important stories on its Web site.
